DIY Demi-Lune Console Table
To make this great hallway staple, you need an old dining table, some paint or stain, a 2″x2″ piece of wood and some screws.
The best kind of table is one that has a removable leaf because you can then just split the two pieces from each other by removing the extension device underneath the table top. If it does not have a leaf, you will have to saw the table into two pieces.
Sand, prime, and paint or stain the table to the desired finish.
Screw the 2″x2″ piece of wood to the wall at the correct height, then secure the table to the wood by screwing from the top down into the wood. Fill the screw holes with wood putty sand it down and paint/stain to match.
That’s all it takes to create a one-of-a-kind console table which can often cost upwards of $500.
Let me know how yours turns out!
