My Second Model
August 14, 2009
These are some pictures from my second model. It was in the same complex as the first that I posted last week.

Living Room
This is the living room. I covered the fireplace in an Eldorado Stone. The floors are stained concrete.

Dining Area
This is the dining area. In order to create balance in the room, I hung pictures on the dining area wall and living room wall and in order to help divide the two spaces, I placed a console table between them.

Kitchen
This was a decent sized kitchen, so to help break it up, I created a breakfast area with the bar height table and stools.

Master Bedroom
This is the Master Bedroom. To the left is the Master Bathroom and to the right is the walk in closet. There is also a small balcony off the bedroom.

My First Model Apartment
August 7, 2009
Today I thought I would share with you some of my work…
This is the first model apartment I designed, not my favorite, but I figured I will show you how I started…

Living Room/Dining Room
This is a view of the living room/dining room. The entry to the unit is behind the sofa and the stairs are to the left. There is also a second bedroom/office and a full bathroom to the right of the bedroom. The floors throughout the first floor are polished concrete stained a rich mahogany color. I covered the fireplace in large Lagos Azul stone tiles.

Kitchen
This is a view of the kitchen. It has polished concrete countertops and Jenn- Air appliances with a stainless steel backsplash.

Master Bedroom
The Master Bedroom was in a loft style opening up onto a large patio.

Master Bath
Lastly is the Master Bath which featured double vessel sinks, a frame-less glass shower door and plenty of storage! The tile is a Kota Brown limestone and is used on the floors, the backsplash, and the shower walls. This unit also featured a jacuzzi tub to the left of the countertop as well as a separate toilet area.
